Women in Combat
Today I will be telling you guys about the controversial topic, women in combat. This topic is controversial because, while researching this article on google scholar, there was a chart that showed that citizens of the United States, took a survey on whether women should be able to serve our country. The survey show that most of the citizens said that women should be able to serve our country, but women shouldn’t be able to have leading roles such as generals, and captains.14.5 percent of the army is made up of women. In the Marine Corps, there are 14,000 in the marine corps. In the marine corps there is the most deaths of women compared to the U.S Army. In the Air Force, there are 62,000 women. In the Navy,

In the year of 2013, the army announced that they will be opening more options to women in combat roles. The results of this lead to men peacefully protesting in the streets of Washington D.C. The army has always had women in the force, but never like this. The army has opened opportunities to women and as of right now, there are plenty of women in the army. There are many of other positions in the army that are being examined that women might be able to get under the soldier 2020 plan. The soldier 2020 plan is a plan that is set up to where the best soldiers will be getting to an elite team in the army by the year 2020. So, this means that either gender can get to the soldier 2020. Also this means that if only men are in the soldier 2020, there are more roles for the women to become leaders in the army. If there are lots of women in the soldier 2020, women would prove even more that they are more than a stay at home mom. Either way that soldier 2020 draft goes, women will have more options in the army, and they wouldn’t have anyone tell them about calling the soft. The army is not lowering its standards, but they
