English Should Abortion Remain legal in the U.S.? Abortion is one of the most controversial topics in our time. Many people believe that abortion is immoral and it should be considered as murder. On the other hand, some support the idea that it is the women's right to choose to have an abortion. Although both sides have valid arguments, it is a subject that continues to divide the country. Polls taken in the U.S. show that most Americans do not support abortion, except under certain circumstances. First, there is general agreement that if the mother’s life is at risk a person can justify an abortion. Secondly, most people on both sides of this issue, whether they are “ pro-choice” and “ pro-life” factions agree that abortion is justified in cases of incest.
