All over the world animals have been raised and used to make our every days work easier. Many animal are used to for research, testing and many are used for zoos. Many animals “Imagine born to be someone's lifelong slave, or to be tortured and killed for their avoidable wants” (Raghav). This is the idea that every animal rights activist is trying to get across the world and to every human being. Animals should be granted more rights, because it’s morally wrong to abuse life and recent science makes research seem useless.
Animals should have rights because it is morally wrong to abuse or kill any type of life. This means that it is not right for humans to abuse or kill animals for any of our use.There has been countless scenarios where people …show more content…

In a research done by scientist shows that 92 out of every 100 drugs and food laws that passed in animal testing fails in humans. This shows that it doesn’t make any sense because if we are using animals to test drugs and it passes for the animal but it doesn’t in for humans, causing countless affect to your health. Other reasons that we should stop using animals for nonsense reasons is that, “70% of drugs which cause human birth defects are safe in pregnant monkeys” (Colarusso). Drugs that are safe for animals doesn't mean that it it is safe for humans or the other way around. For example aspirin might be fine for humans and is good for the right purpose but it is actually dangerous to animals because it causes birth defect. This makes birth hard for the animals during the testing the animal is given the drug to test which leads to a negative affect.
Other think that animals should not have rights. They think this because if animals have right this means that we can not use and abuse them for any of their reasons. If animals have rights then they will not be able to be used for research, abused, or held captive by zoos and circus. However, if animals do have have any rights that means that animals would have more purposes and more would be alive. Animal rights movements earlier have should us that animal have been around for a while
