Euthanasia is defined as a painless way of killing someone who suffers from an incurable disease or lies in an irreversible coma. Euthanasia or assisted suicide is considered to be an ethical dilemma because assisting someone’s suicide is viewed as morally wrong, but to let them live in constant pain is not considered morally right either.
People are against euthanasia for several reasons, in many religions they believe that only God is allowed to take a life. You will therefore be punished in your afterlife if you go against God’s will. Non-religious people also think that euthanasia devalues human life.

If they do, they are punished by losing their medical license or are sentenced to prison. People are also afraid that if euthanasia is allowed, some might abuse the system. Euthanasia may be used for personal gains.
The strongest pro euthanasia argument is that people should have the freedom of choice. Families might suffer less, because they did not have to experience their mother/grandmother losing her memory, or developing irrational anger toward her family.
