According to the Webster’s dictionary, a hero is defined as a person, typically a man, who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements or noble qualities. Atticus Finch defines heroism as “when you know you’re licked before you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what. You rarely win, but sometimes you do.” Atticus was the only one that stood up for Tom Robinson, a black man accused of rape.
