I plan to pursue the career of being an attorney or lawyer. A typical day as a lawyer or Attorney includes applying the law and its duties to clients and their individual circumstances. It may also include giving legal advice, or legal perspectives to a client. Attorneys may also have to represent clients on legal matters in court. Being a successful attorney includes a variety of skills like decisions making, negotiating, and persuasion. Using these skills, along with others, will help the success of an attorney’s career. To be an attorney there is not much experience needed, although one can enter this occupation with either Master’s degree in Law and Criminal Justice, a Ph.D. or Doctorate are also satisfactory degrees one may have to …show more content…

The lawyer occupation is projected to grow 10% within the next 8 years, competing about the same with other occupations. The present and future demand for this occupation is not overwhelming but there are always opening and job offers for graduating students. Although an increase in criminal activity may lead to a rising need in new attorneys. Being an attorney or a variety of an attorney is available almost anywhere in the world. There would be no need to relocate unless a new opportunity was offered somewhere else. There are a view advancements that occur in this career, as one gains more experience in the field one may be assigned to higher paying client’s oy to deal with more important clients which can lead to an increase in pay and more responsibilities. The career plan I intend to take includes graduating high school and attending a well-known university with a prominent Law school. During this time I intend to take classes that include concepts like Criminal Justice, Criminology, History, Law, and Legal
