The SWOT analysis is a comprehensive consideration of what is considered to be an internal and external environment so that an organization can get a better understanding and create or place a strategy in place to carry out the organization mission (Kinicki & Williams, 2012). The Strengths: Avis Budget Group is one of the largest rental car and truck organizations operating throughout the United States and globally. The employees are highly trained and motivated on a daily basis to provide excellent customer service to all of the clients/customers and potential prospects. Avis Budget Group provides an excellent fleet which is based on the demand of the business and leisure customers. The Weakness: Unlike many of the competitors in the organization; running out of cars seem to be the most difficult thing. Doing the peak season, most of the fleet is being pulled out to bring in a new fleet, while in this process many locations may have a shortage based on the downtime of fleeting in/out vehicles. Doing this time competitors offer vehicles to the potential customers and sometimes win them over based on the fleet.
