Did you know that almost every single religion has their own opinion on creation? The Aztec Creation Story is a myth. Myths are stories that are retold in different ways each time they are read. The “Aztec Creation” story is not real since there were no people before time, there were more then 3 people running, and there was land before time in the story. There were no people before that time. According to “The Aztec Creation Myth” it says, “Before the Earth had formed there was Kotaku the Earth Mother, she swam in the chaotic waters in the darkness before time.” This means that the Aztec Creation Myth is not correct. For example, the reason is that there were not people before time, but in the Aztec Creation Myth it says, “there was Kotaku the Earth Mother.” The text also states “she created the moons and the stars.” In fact this also shows when she was swimming she created the moon and the stars while in the water. …show more content…

The text also states, “She could already see them advancing towards her over the hills.” This also shows that there were hills which meant land which wasn’t true before time. According to “The Aztec Creation Myth” it says, “Coatlicue had a daughter, the Earth Goddess, Coyolxauhqui.”This shows that there were more than one person before time, which wasn’t true. It also says, “Her children in heaven were ashamed of their mother.” Furthermore, this says that she had children before time and there was nobody before time. Aztec Creation is not real.
