Eisenhower. Dwight David Eisenhower was born on October 14, 1890, in Denison, Texas. Many sources say that Dwight D. Eisenhower’s name at birth was David Dwight Eisenhower.

Dwight D. Eisenhower, born on October 14, 1890, in Denison, Texas, was a World War II army officer, and later general, who led the attack on Normandy, France on June 6, 1944. Dwight Eisenhower was recognized by U.S. Chief of Staff George C. Marshall for his intelligence, hard work, and strategic vision throughout training during World War I. After WWI, Dwight Eisenhower was promoted to lieutenant colonel and later to the rank of Major until the U.S. entered WWII. At the beginning of the end of WWII, Supreme Allied General Commander Dwight D. Eisenhower orchestrated the most crucial invasion of the end of WWII. After retiring, Dwight Eisenhower achieved the status of U.S president because he was one of the people, simple, modest, and hardworking.
Dwight David Eisenhower is often thought of as the 34th president of the United States. However, his military career, and especially his successful involvement in the liberation of France and the defeat of Nazi Germany, undeniably play an important role in his ascension to the White House. General Eisenhower had many impressive military accomplishments during World War II, and his achievements are to America what General De Gaulle's are to France. At the beginning of WWII, Eisenhower was chosen to lead the Army War Plans Division and develop military strategies to defeat Germany and the other members of the Axis.

The delivery of the eulogy played a gigantic part in its effectiveness to Americans as well. Over the course of our country’s history, we’ve had many talented and driven men serve in the White House. But only one can hold the title of finest leader. Dwight D. Eisenhower, the 34th president, is the best president this nation has ever seen for of his achievements, including aiding in the conquering of Hitler, proudly serving as the first commander of the NATO, establishing three Civil Rights Acts, serving two terms, and ending the Korean War.
I don’t know about you, but becoming president of USA is a huge accomplishment, people dream of becoming president because it’s a big deal. Especially after growing up poor and losing his mother at such young age he was a able to overcome all that and become the 16th president. That’s one of the main reasons that he inspires me because he knows how to keep going when the going get tough. He also issued The Emancipation Proclamation, which freed over 3 million slaves from the Confederate States(Coolidge 113). That was a bold move by him because by issuing the Emancipation Proclamation he basically told the south that he wasn’t going to stand for their bs.
On October fourteenth of 1890, a new hero, Dwight D. Eisenhower, was born in Denison, Texas (Marc Frey, 2013). Although Eisenhower was born in Texas, he grew up a poor young boy in Abilene, Kansas. As a little boy, he dreamed of becoming a professional baseball player, but little did he know, bigger things were coming his way. After graduating high school, Eisenhower attended school at West Point, which started his love for the military (Marc Frey). At the age of 25, Eisenhower graduated from West Point.
He went on to shut down a corrupt bank, be the first and last president to rid the U.S. of all debt, and make many other accomplishments. However, there were some poor choices along the way. The Trail of Tears being an example of this; the mass killing of multiple Indians. Every president has made mistakes. This being on of the worst.
Barack Hussein Obama is an American politician who served as the 44th President of the United States from 2009 to 2017. He is the first African American to have served as president, as well as the first born outside the contiguous United States. In this speech he gave at the Democratic National Convention he reflects on his upbringing and his beating the odds with faith in the possibilities. His speech concerned the unnecessary and artificial divides in American politics and culture, emphasizing the importance of unity in our country, not just red states for Republicans and blue states for Democrats. As first president, he become a role model for every other present succeeding him and helped create our countries values that we cherish so much today.

After his four years he ran for president again against Mitt Romney and also won the election. In the eight years that Barack Obama was in office he did some very important and very impressive thing for our country. Some of his greatest accomplishments are signing an affordable Care Act that gave affordable health care to over 20 million uninsured americans and he also ended a war in Iraq.
Barack Obama’s win for President in 2009 was a historical moment for the United States. His inaugural speech was much anticipated, because this was going to set the tone for his presidency. His speech told the American people that improving the economy is one of his priorities, but there were also other areas he would like to improve like healthcare and the education system. This was a speech that was meant to persuade the American public to take action for them to rise as a nation again, and for them to put their trust into him. His message addressed a couple of specific points like his gratefulness to the American people, the different crises America is facing, how America will overcome these crises, replying to his cynics, addressing the world, and then he reminded America again to be brave like they’ve always been to overcome the hard times (5 Speechwriting Lessons from Obama's Inaugural Speech, (n.d.).
