Those of you who have ever decided to splash out on a privatised registration plate will know that once you get beyond the obscure variations on barely relevant nicknames, things get pricey! But with the rich and famous, just exactly how much are they willing to spend on a piece of white plastic on the bumper of their supercars. One of the best known expensive number plates is one that arrogantly pronounces itself and the importance of the owner behind the wheel, 'VIP 1' was originally commissioned for use on Pope John Paul II's popemobile. It is now owned by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich who reportedly paid 285,000 for the privilege of being recognised as 'the number one VIP'.
Did you know that President Obama is the first African American president? In the American society they have mixed feelings whether Obama is doing good or bad since his first term in office. Many project that he is doing an unacceptable job in the office by not passing laws that he has promised. While those who are against him, others confabulate that with the success he has had. All though it is tough for him to pass laws due to congress, I do not think he is doing as good as American
He has done many wonderful things during his time as president and will continue to do
In all he is a bad president. He is a Muslim, he is a terrible speaker, and he is a socialist which is one of the worst things you can be in the world. Even his wife is not smart, she does all this eat healthy stuff and she isn’t even that skinny. Especially with the Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown stuff it doesn’t matter, they were gang members, so who really cares, no one should riot nor even protest peacefully when someone like that dies. I am glad Obama doesn’t have a son like Trayvon, because more than ½ of the population would leave the U.S. With all that we have said.
President Obama did a tremendous job speaking to the audience of the graduates like the young adults they were. As intellectuals who have experienced events in their life that no one can take away from them. There is a trend today that there is need to make America great again, but that isn’t so. Obama makes numerous statements that imply America is at its best, for example, “We virtually eliminated certain diseases like polio. We have cut extreme poverty drastically.
He delivered his speeches fearlessly with new ideas, hope and vision. His speeches were more about changing of old ideas and to adapting to a modern social way of life. He convinced that racial barriers are an outdated form of system. His successful election campaign proves the American people wanted change. In the book “At This Defining Moment” by Eden Logan, she says, “Americans of all races were drawn to Obama by the sense of redemption that he seemed to offer, and by the desire to feel good about the United States again.”
Barack Obama impacted U.S history by passing down greater laws, he was the first black president in the U.S, he gave people free insurance, and there were not many chemical weapons in the U.S during his presidency. The “Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” My first reason why Barack Obama impacted us history by passing down greater laws, one of those laws was their Obama car act.
He also issued executive actions that helped the environment and immigrates. Barack Obama helped promote discussions that led to the 2015 Paris Agreement on global climate change. Barack Obama’s character traits can be described as brave, caring and intelligent. He is brave because he ended the war in Iraq, and began the removal of American troops from Afghanistan.
To start off, Obama is a leader. When he was the 44th president of America, he did a lot of good things. He had a bunch of traits that leaders have. If he was still the president of the United states then he would be doing greater things. There are still other leaders and he was one of them.
Defending allies and interests, showing purpose without arrogance, meeting aggression with resolve and strength, and speaking for American values are all ideals that the American people can unanimously agree upon. In conclusion, George W. Bush was able to give a meaningful speech. Bush gave an effective inaugural address by using biblical allusions, collaborative language, and an anaphora in order to unite the country after a contentious election. His rhetoric added value to his speech and made it one to remember.
How did you miss the good that President Obama (in spite of his flaws and being opposed his ENTIRE two terms by the opposing party) brought to this country? For example, Insurance for All, Ended the Recession, lowered the unemployment rate, and regulated the banks regarding credit cards and mortgages
The first persuasive speech analyzed is a speech by Barack Obama. On the 1st of October a shooting took place at a community college near Roseburg, Oregon, causing 10 deaths. Obama, who is in his last term as president, prepared a speech to speak about this tragic event. In this speech Obama uses a clear structure to convince the audience of his standpoint, Obama achieves this through using crisp and declamatory language in order to iniate action of his audience, and to express his bitter disappointment. Obama starts off his speech with a fairly standard opening sentence, except for one word, namely the word “another”.
In 2008,after two mandate of the republican majority represented by Georges W. Bush, the USA have to elected the future president of the USA ON THE 4TH November 2008.With the country in need for changes of the eight years of the politics of G.W. Bush. The democrat ended their primary in June 8th 2008. Barack Obama wins against Hilary Clinton. After the end of the primary, the Democratic National Convention was held in Denver, Colorado, to consecrate the representor of the democrat party in the election.
He really sure that all of those policies will be implemented during his period because as president Obama is the head of the country and the one who decide the
Elections, as nearly all are aware, is a time of immense importance as each candidate tries to persuade the general public to choose them as their new president. With that comes presidential debates, polls, and more importantly speeches. This is the time when the public gets a real feel of who each person is, their moral, or their ideas of ways to solve key problems. But although they do have their benefits, they don 't always outweigh the consequences. It is how the speeches are laid out causes most of the problems.
