“I'm not concerned with your liking or disliking me... All I ask is that you respect me as a human being.” That is what I believe a main character trait that makes him a leader. The definition of a leader is a person who leads or commands a group, organization, or country. His legacy is one
George Washington was a great leader. He had shown his leadership skills in many ways throughout his life, but mainly when he stepped into the role of president. In my opinion, George Washington was the best president the United States of America has ever had because he was the first president. He stepped into a completely new role in a new government system, set precedents for the role, and led our country diplomatically. While Washington was not perfect, as no human being is, he was a great president and proved so in his eight years in office.
In 1976 he was elected in Arkansas’s attorney and won his governorship as a president and also he was the youngest president. Bill Clinton is a good leader because he has made America more success than ever. Bill Clinton is known as a good leader because he communicates his vision very well. He thinks that national heath insurance and gay right should have the right to protect them. Clinton communicated his own vision so well and wants the health insurance and also gay people should have the right to do what they want.
George Washington displayed all qualities that made him a leader. Although he was truly a great leader it was never something that he inspired to be. Washington’s trustworthiness and reputation in the military also helped with the development of his leadership. His leadership and legacy can be measured by what happened afterwards. Creating a political system that is still used today, proves that what Washington did helped change America.
Similar to MLK ’s I have a dream speech, Obama alternates between describing the problems of the world (appealing to people’s sympathy) and describing his hope for the future which inspires people. In this speech, Obama doesn’t lay out his plans for how he plans to achieve these goals, or explain why he is worthy of this office, he inspires people to believe in him because that will gain him more support than anything
Why President Barack Obama is like Martin Luther King Jr. Martin Luther King Jr. was an activist and humanitarian who believed in peaceful nonviolent protests. He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964 for his activism using non violence. He fought for civil rights for African Americans in the 1950’s and the 1960’s in the U.S.A. The leader today who exemplifies what Martin Luther King Jr. stood for is President Barack Obama. He is a leader today who parallels Martin Luther King Jr. because like Martin Luther King Jr. he won the Nobel Peace Prize, fought for gay rights, and was an advocate for the poor.
How was lincoln a good leader? Lincoln could've served 8 years but since he was assassinated, he only served five. He was also elected as the Illinois General Assembly. Lincoln was Also elected to the U.S House of Representative. He was a good leader because he was experienced
Being a good leader does not necessarily mean shining in the spotlight. Some of the most revolutionary and successful leaders are the ones who worked the lights. Self-awareness, self-direction, vision, ability to motivate, and social awareness are the characteristics of a good leader according to SIY Leadership Institute (SIYLI). There have been many accomplished and renowned leaders in America since (and before) the 1770’s, ones whose names are universally known and others who are unfamiliar. Of the latter is Alexander Hamilton, who showed potential since the minute he was put on earth, for no matter what obstacles were thrown in his way he forged ahead and never threw away his shot.
For starters, he tried his best to put an end to ISIS. ISIS is a big problem in the United States everyone is scared of another terrorist attack. He tried to put an end to them by ordering the capture and killing of Osama Bin Laden. He also began the drawdown of troops in Afghanistan, which took a lot of guts to do. Barack Obama also played a big role in negotiating the landmark Iran Nuclear Deal.
Barack Obama President Barack Obama has had a tremendous impact on the United States by accomplishing a variety of positive change to our country. Overall, our economy has grown. The government has progressed, and he's changed the relationships we have with other countries. He will forever be remembered as a leader.
Barack Obama impacted U.S history by passing down greater laws, he was the first black president in the U.S, he gave people free insurance, and there were not many chemical weapons in the U.S during his presidency. The “Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” My first reason why Barack Obama impacted us history by passing down greater laws, one of those laws was their Obama car act.
Obama Introduction Obama was the 44th president of the United States and was the first ever african american president. Obama first ran for president in 2008 against John McCain and won. After his four years he ran for president again against Mitt Romney and also won the election. In the eight years that Barack Obama was in office he did some very important and very impressive thing for our country. Some of his greatest accomplishments are signing an affordable Care Act that gave affordable health care to over 20 million uninsured americans and he also ended a war in Iraq.
His speech made a major impact on today’s society. Obama made everything possible for society. Obama speech had a slippery slope effect. Thanks to Obama we now have free health care and several other things. Obama just didn’t give us free health care, Obama gave the people hope.
President Obama embodies everything that America means to me and everything that I love about it and in this one simple gesture, he elicits an undying loyalty and re-commitment to the truly revolutionary ideals of America that he represents: equality, justice, opportunity, evolution, freedom and democracy. Barack Obama is a potent symbol for anyone who has ever belonged to a minority race. Mr Obama is a symbol of some of the best things in America. Given his family history, he is also a symbol of what a person can achieve if he works hard and has the support of people who love him. I over love
He understood the needs of the country, he also knew what it would take to get the results he needed. The slogan “Yes We Can” really drove his presidency. He fought to make all his promises happen. Barack Obama made 533 campaign promises, of those 533 he has kept 48% percent of them.
