The Reformation dates back to the early 16th century by making an abrupt change in European Society while also changing the World. The Reformation led to the destruction of the Catholic Church. The citizens were able to worship in any form of religion they wished without the Catholic Church trying to control this but the most important part is that a numerous amount of people began to leave to America to worship God freely. One of the main people during the Reformation would be Martin Luther, a former Catholic monk, who was one of the top figures who helped the process for many move quickly. Luther’s ideas were so profound that they threatened the Pope and the rulings of the Catholic Church. Luther proposed the idea that individuals could not pray themselves for forgiveness into Heaven and that it is not how it works. Catholic priests had been gaining money from the individuals who believed that they would be going to Heaven for the price they had paid. The Allies were France, Russia, Great Britain and later the U.S. and the Central Powers which were Austria-Hungary, Germany and the Ottoman Empire. Some reasons for World War I was the defense alliances made between different countries which mainly stated that if one country was in a war that other countries would join and fight together. Most importantly the number one cause of World War I was the assassination of Franz Ferdinand. There were two attempts of the assassination of Ferdinand which resulted in the 1st being unsuccessful attempt. Just one day later, the 2nd attempt resulted in the assassination of Ferdinand and his wife in their own country of Austria-Hungary.
