The two senators I chose were Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer. My two congressmen were Rick Allen and Alma Adam Senator Dianne Feinstein, built a reputation on an independent voice, as she works for both Democrats and Republicans. She works on making California better she has worked to build significant record of legislative accomplishments. She is a leader of the environmental protection. Ranking member of Committee Environment and Public works as well as the Senate Select Committee on Ethics. Senator Boxer is also a member of many organizations. Barbara created and saved 3 million jobs nationwide, she secured passage of the Water Resource Development Act. Senator Boxer has won many awards for what she has done for the environment. Senator Boxer funded afterschool programs, this law covers 1.6 million children. She has done many more for this country as for the environment. Her education consisted a bachelors degree graduation from Brooklyn College. She has served 16 years both in the House of Representatives and the County Board. The Senate has divided its tasks among 20 committees, 68 subcommittees, and 4 joint committees. For an example she has passed the air pollution, public works, environmental policies etc. I think that these committees do reflect local constituent interest.
