To educate effectively, we must be prepared, plan, and present subject matter with imagination and vitality. In Matthew 7:29, it states, “Jesus taught with a commanding assurance and vigor that amazed the multitudes.” Curriculum development necessitates the formation of a framework that will provide concepts and materials which will expand the learning process. The position of the teacher not only leads but serves (Matthew 20:25-28). Leading and serving as a biblical worldview can be successfully intertwined into the role of the teacher, impacting the development of the curriculum.

The conceptual basis that is formed from the worldview facilitates interaction with the world for interpretation (Steven & Van Treuren, 2004, p. 425). This conceptual basis may stem from various influential sources which impact a person’s philosophies regarding education and expected societal roles. For Christians, narrative interpretations emanate from the Old and New Testaments, which from creedal and doctrinal statements (Steven & Van Treuren, 2004, p. 426).
Personal beliefs intertwine and connect with our innate theories and opinions about society. These personal beliefs impact how we teach, learn, and our level of involvement within our communities. We define worldview as ways we view reality-the interpretive lens on the nature of the world, humans, and God.
