Week seven, I cannot believe that we only have one more week after this one and then finals. I have learned so much in this class so I am really pleased especially because I know that by passing this class I get closer to reach my goals. Anyways, this week we learned about Swap space, cached management and the different paging policies.
Essentially, in my experience, Magnet looks at three main things. They look at degrees. They don’t like diploma and ADN nurses. They like BSN degrees and above.
Black Archives Reflection Touring the Black Archives at the university was an enlightening and insightful experience. I got to fulling comprehend the depth of the impact this university has had on the black community and how it has aided to our progression as a people through the decades. It was shocking to find out that parts of the land this university was founded on, used to be a slave plantation. Duval Hall, where the Black Archives building currently presides, originally was a mansion owned by the slave masters family.
I filled N-400 and had and passed the language and history interview. I received a letter indicating that I needed some more documents. Unfortunately, my health is on relapse phase now and I cannot work a lot, please consider a discount for me.
ASAM 100 has been one of the most insightful classes I have taken in college—so far! Through this class, I was able to learn a great deal about my culture and about myself as a person. In retrospect to my first “Why ASAM?” essay, I still believe that it is important for everybody to learn about their culture sometime throughout their life. I was able to learn about various topics such as: the issues of my culture, the traditions of my culture, how others view individuals of my culture, and more. Throughout this class, I learned about the Model Minority Myth and its effect on individuals of Asian background, I learned about issues that other Asian Americans faced through the video, Asian American Voices, and I learned to grow as a writer.
My student, Paula Wentley, is in the process of applying to the University of Tennessee-Knoxville with the goal of pursuing an undergraduate degree in Nursing. She is an exemplary student who demonstrates solid ethics in the academic, social, and personal aspects of her life. Aside from being an extremely hard worker, Paula shows promise and aptitude in the health sciences. This year, Paula ran for Vice President of the Health Occupations Students of America student club.
On Wedsnday, October 28 2015 at or about 0051 hours I was conducting a buisness check (park and walk) at the location of 2400 charleston street( martin Luther king community center), hollywood florida, due to the high call volume of loiters, narcotics usage and other illegal activitiy. While on foot patrol, I noticed that the gate located at the north west corner was open (no forced entry). It should be noted that this gate leads into the dense shrubbery directly behind the community center. assisting officers and yself conducted a foot patrol into the shubbery. While in the area, I noticed that there was a social trail which led deep inside the shubbery.
To EPAC Appeals Sub-committee: This morning I received an email regarding my dismissal from the College of Nursing program. I am aware that I have failed NUR 250: Knowledge Foundations with a 71, instead of a 73. I’m writing this appeal letter to explain the cause of my poor grades and to ask you to please reconsider me to continue my progression into the nursing program. My poor academic performance has been a result of multiple stressors and life problems.
Evaluation about Clients’ Satisfaction after Participating in FFT I am interested in evaluating the clients’ satisfaction after participating in functional family therapy (FFT). The clients include adolescents who have received a diagnosis of conduct disorder and their parents, so I will compare perceptions of adolescents to perceptions of their parents. I would identify adolescence clients through references by other agents including prisons, family courts, or clinics in the United States. The participations can be people who are from different cultures, races, gender, colors, and different sexual orientations. This study consists of their parents, so I would identify participants through selected adolescence clients’ families.

My knowledge in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) continues to expand as I progress through the DNP program. The knowledge I have attained while in the study of the DNP I and DNP II is priceless. For example, recognizing stakeholders and utilizing networking has helped me to progress on my DNP project (Gokenbach, 2012). I also have a better understanding as well as the purpose of a DNP project. My mentors have been great in directing me in remaining on the right track.
However, the accelerated BSN calls for online learning, especially to provide working nurses with an opportunity to horn their critical knowledge and skills needed to assume high levels of responsibility in the nursing field. Through online learning, you still have the support of the faculty and staff who understand the students’ time, energy, and career development. You can access the faculty staff through web-cam technology to get one-on-one attention and course assessment. Before commencing an online BSN program, students are taken through an orientation course that may run for five weeks where they learn the skills of becoming a successful online student, course format and policies, and resources used.
The Process of Reflection The process of reflection is central to clinical supervision. Launer (2003) describes external and internal factors in supervision whereby clinical practice and sharing skills are external and reflection is an ‘internal conversation.’ Brunero & Stein-Parbury (2008) discussed the effects of clinical supervision in nursing staff and argued that self-reflection generates a sense of self-awareness and knowledge to the individual. Supervisees or students may be asked what happened during a clinical event, how they felt, the implications of their actions and what they would do differently if faced with the same situation.
The other reason is for promotion you need to obtain a CCAF degree to promote Master Sargent. I know that is still away, but once you complete your CCAF you will not longer have to worry about it. You will be able to concentrate completely on your registered nurse degree. This will benefit you in the long run.
