• Chair told me that my boss (she asked if Dr Waxmosnky) needs to make me publish this and that Dr Fritz wants peer review publication and that all this great project if not publish cannot be use for policy planning Dr Fritz also want collaboration with the pediatrics associations at the State level and our involvement since pediatricians also have a mandate to add our service • We need to continue to collect quality measure for the program Last issue is something I hope will not sound too shallow but I think is needed for me to have a place at the table with my group. I know you acknowledged my contribution to the collaborative model we developed but since I am not CL and there is a committee for the Collaboration with medical profession I would like to participate in I would appreciate if some official title can be added to my role since they all have it. I am not asking for time or money or to be considered for medical directorship but if I can get the official leadership role of the program (Dr Waxmosnky named this and it works

Dear Ms. Lee, My apologies regarding missing the phone interview this afternoon, I wrote down the wrong day. Mea culpa! I tried to go into Duke 's applicant tracking system to withdraw my application, but the system does not provide that option. Again, my apologies for the mix-up.
Before reading “Nickel and Dimed: On (NOT) Getting by in America”, my perception of blue collar Americans is much different. I had figured that blue collared workers in lower paying jobs were not very hard working people, and that they still made enough money to have decent living conditions. Before reading Nickel and Dimed I thought that if you had a job and were not making enough to get by that you were probably a lazy person. Reading Nickel and Dimed really opened my eyes to the quality of life workers in these jobs have made me realize that you can be employed at a Walmart or as a hotel maid like Barbara Ehrenreich was and still be living in poverty. I learned pretty early into Nickel and Dimed that only having one job at this level of jobs
Nickel and Dimed, written by Barbara Ehrenreich goes in depth of workers that have minimum wage jobs and are trying to survive in the U.S economy. Ehrenreich’s goes incognito trying to work in low-end jobs. Experiencing the hardships that many Americans face, Ehrenreich learns that money is not equal to the work and grief put in. Everywhere in the novel, Ehrenreich expresses that owners of corporations keep the workers down. As quoted, “…everyone knows they have crossed over to the other side, which is, crudely put, corporate as opposed to human" (Ehrenreich, 22).
To EPAC Appeals Sub-committee: This morning I received an email regarding my dismissal from the College of Nursing program. I am aware that I have failed NUR 250: Knowledge Foundations with a 71, instead of a 73. I’m writing this appeal letter to explain the cause of my poor grades and to ask you to please reconsider me to continue my progression into the nursing program. My poor academic performance has been a result of multiple stressors and life problems.
Applications are due on Tuesday, October 27th at 4:30 P.M. I am aware that this is very soon and understand if you are unable to worl in this time frame. I have included
The NUFS program provides their student with the proper tools and knowledge to prep their student for their intended career path. With the proper guidance and mentoring, students are able to graduate faster with post graduation goals in hand. For example, they notify students quickly each year if the catalog has been changed within the major. By taking the course NUFS31, I now know which classes I need to take every semester such as NUFS106A. This is important to take because it is a prerequisite for most of my major classes. I am also currently taking NUFS21, introduction to culinary, as an elective.
There are a lot of components that I use within the Wesleyan Quadrilateral that I use in my everyday life. I tend to ask questions about my faith, I believe, is it necessary for Christian college students to experience. I’m learning this now at this point in my life that this is a better opportunity for me start contemplating about what I believe and challenge my faith a little bit. Wesleyan Quadrilateral is a theological process for understanding God’s truth in areas not specially addressed in scripture. John Wesley uses these tools for thinking about life issues that God has provided for people for creating choices in how one determines their own life choices and understanding of the world around them.
My desire to be a 1I06 TA originates from a passion for problem-based learning (PBL) and teaching. This format of education requires students to take charge of their own learning and the teachers to facilitate that process. I believe that 1I06 successfully accomplishes that mission and truly makes an impact on students which I will describe below, using my personal experiences of the course. First of all, this course significantly changed my approach to learning new material. My biggest source of learning was the RAPSES.
My second community engagement was going to the NAMI walk in Orange County. NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness it is one of the largest non-profit organizations that is dedicated to create better lives for people suffering mental illness. NAMI works with the community to raise awareness and provide support and educate with people in need. The organization also conducts many public events and activities to raise money and to create awareness. For example, some of the events are Mental Illness Awareness week and NAMI walk.
Over the course of the semester I have been analyzing the content of my community's newspaper the Hot Springs Sentinel Record based upon my reading in the book. Before I took this class I was clueless of the world of community journalism, I have learned so much about it now and have a great deal of appreciation for community papers. The hard work and dedication that is put into community newspapers by their staff, surpasses that of any big city, large circulation newspaper, in my opinion. Due to the smaller audience of community papers, details are of greater importance, the struggle of deciding when to print stories even if it means offending certain people is much greater, and the obligation of producing a quality paper every single time is held at a higher standard. Based off of the knowledge I have gained from this course over all I do not believe the Hot Springs Sentinel Record exemplifies what it truly means to be a community newspaper.
Without the knowledge of self there is no knowledge of God (Cron & Stabile, 2016). When I began reading the book, this quote had stood out to me, it highlights what knowing about yourself is all about. Before beginning this assignment or even opening the book, I had briefly heard about the Enneagram—it was another personality quest of what one is. Personally, I love knowing about personalities and just trying to know who I am, and wanting to know why I do the things that I do.
