I have read the “Target Around the City” C204 final report, which was written on April 2012. The purpose of this memo is to show my analysis of the report and what we can learn . “Target Around the City” presented the strategies to reach younger customers in an urban environment, to enter the Seattle’s market, and to attract youths by using flash mobs and mobile advertising. There are many strengths are worth studying. The first strength is good structure of the whole report. This report started with analysis of target customers and location choices, and then, explained how to enter urban market. Detailed ideas and implementations of the market and advertising were included. The final part of this report provided possible scenarios and a clear timeline for implementation. It’s important to have an organized and clear structure of our future report. Another strength is using many data tables and pictures provide support for ideas and implementations. For example, the team used a pie chart and two linear graphs to represent the largest portion of people who lived in downtown Seattle. These people is young, between the age of 24 and 34, and 45% have a bachelor’s degree. The statistics prove the feasibility of opening a new Target store in downtown Seattle. …show more content…

Every page has the icon and team name “ Bullseye Innovators”, which makes the report more clear and unified. The icon of their team is similar to the trademark of Target. Also, the team used a table of contents to show what they are going to discuss in this report. They used headlines and sub-headlines for every part to make the report easy to read. The font color of headlines and key points are red, which is the representative color of Target. Those details make the report more uniform and
