Introduction
The theory of evolution is the central theory to understanding biology, it explains why there is so much diversity in all aspects of life and why chemical pathways can be the same in long separated lineages of species (Farber, 2003). Due to the key importance of evolution we have designed our exhibition to encompass all aspects of evolution from the creation of Earth to the present day. Our exhibition will also contain tectonic plate development, changes in CO2 and O2 levels and the development of technology. With evolution being such a key part of understanding biology and science it is imperative that the public have a good basic level of education on the subject. A large percentage of Americans still believe in creationism,

Education standards are important as they describe what the public will learn whilst in education, there have been efforts to improve education on evolution but despite these efforts it is clear that the level of knowledge is still not up to standard (Moor, 2002). Museums provide an excellent way to aid in the education of the public and can do so in a much more exciting and engaging way, museums are an important tool in public education (Ahmad et al, 2013). Museums now have access to other tools, such as the Internet, these can be use to provide education away from the museum and also to attract visitors and advertise heir exhibitions (Rappolt-Schlichtmann & Daley, 2013). Big museums like the Natural History Museum use their website to back up exhibitions seen in the museum (Natural History Museum, 2015). For education on evolution to be effective there must be current and relative information available for the public (Diamond & Evans, 2007). The inclusion of the Darwin’s finch model is an excellent example of this. This allows us to illustrate the way the evolution occurs in a relevant way to the
