Report on Holden: This report is to ascertain the eighteen year old Holden Caulfield. There have been questions raised as to whether this young man is “fit for society “this report sets out to examine whether Holden is fit for society and in particular does he have an undue influence on other teenagers, and being safe around young children. Holden has applied for a job at St Peters College LA, and this police report will determine whether he is a suitable character to work in such an environment. To me Holden seems to be an intelligent person as to get into Prency prep you need to be academically able in the first place to let them enrol you. With his exam only passing English I can tell that he is just being lazy and not really applying himself this may be due to some traumatic events take took place in this past like the death of his brother Allie and of his roommate. He might be in a depression state. He is easily irritable and can’t tolerate much form other people. From what I can tell he doesn’t like adults at all and seems to hate himself for Turing into one. He is disgusted and fed up with the way they act/talk and everything about them. He alienates most adults and pushes them away including his own parents who he doesn’t seem to have a very good relationship with. We could say that his current mental state is him struggling with life. The death of his brother Allie plays a huge part on Holden’s
