2016 The world’s population is 7 billion people which means they’re also 7 billion different personalities and characteristics walking around. Everyone has something unique about them that makes them stick out from the rest. Many of us growing up hear the sayings “dare to be different," its great to be unique and always remember to be yourself. When people embrace who they are and are content with being themselves inventions usually come about as well as different ideas because if everyone was the same we would be living in a utopia world. In the opening scene of season 1 episode 1 Huey admits “I am not a prophet but sometimes I have prophetic dreams” (Season 1, Episode 1). This exemplifies that he is often inspired and wants to express his personal thoughts with others. He o wants to lead people and to help them understand his point of view but he thinks “whats the point of talking if no one ever learns”(Season 3 Episode 1). He practices his leadership skills when he is forced to look after his little brother making sure he does not get into anything bad. He is often put in situations that he must lead him and his brother out of messy situation. Another characteristic that Huey has that is similar to a natural born leader is his public speaking skills. He has no problem getting up in front of a group of people and sharing his opinion. Although majority of the time his opinion is looked down upon or not taken seriously but he does not let that affect him. He gives people many ideas of how they can improve society and make society a bette place but no one ever wants to listen to what the ten year old has to say. He speaks the truth about everything even if its not what people want to hear. Being a leader is all about not being afraid of being yourself and encouraging the society to make change. Huey Freeman is a superhero because nowadays we live in a society where everyone wants to fit in and you are shunned if you are different. After examining Huey very closely I now understand what it means to be comfortable in your own skin. Huey shows that it does not matter what other people think of you its about what you think about yourself. Huey shows how important it is to try to help society even when society doesn't fully accept you. Its all about creating change and daring to be yourself even when the world around you is against you. Huey reminds me of a superhero because he never gives up, he’s comfortable in his skin and because he wants to help people be better people. Although he is different from the stereotypical ten year old he makes sure to shine and make people aware of what he believes
