Thomas Searles: Thomas Searles is a character from the movie Glory. Glory is a movie based on the Massachusetts 54th regiment, which was a regiment full of black soldiers who volunteered to join the civil war. His character had a huge impact on me. His anger seems to stem from his experiences of being a slave, as he seemed to cause some type of trouble, whether it be getting into arguments or calling others horrendous names.
