(CIC) aka Chesapeake IT Consultants is an Information Technology consulting services firm that was formed in May of 2004. Its headquarters is located in Baltimore, Maryland however do to the size of the company there are several smaller offices/locations spread global, including Herndon, Virginia and Besthesda, Maryland. Since the company's development several IT and management methodologies have been introduced in order to provide a premium and solid experience to employees and customers. The end goal of CIC is to provide top quality consulting services, information and recommendations to its customers. One of the ways CIC plans to provide extraordinary server is by hiring highly skilled candidates, who have a well rounded and vast knowledge of current technical and business concepts. One of the key aspects the candidate needs to have is being able to comprise their own business concepts and practices. By using the new implemented IT hiring system, it would alleviate overhead and manual analysis. Introducing a automated IT hiring system and process would help filter out consultants at a faster rate. When it comes to business practices any wasteful opportunities can cost the company time, money and resources. One of the most important aspects of the new system is that it should be flexible and be scaled depending on the company's growth. The system should also be able to handle both on-boarding and off-boarding processes of consultants. Luckily company already has a time tacking and payroll application in place, so the new IT hiring system main priority should focus on tracking skills and certificates of staff in order to place the right person for a specific project. Finally the CIO, has requested that the new system should be compatible when integrated with the company’s previous architecture and systems. It should be noted that because many of the devices are also mobile, the CIO would like to have something in place that would allow can be easily repaired and flexible with mobile devices.
