I am a Freshman (second semester) at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I am majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in Psychology with the deep interest in doing research about cancer to broaden my knowledge about cancer. I plan to continue my education by joining the medical school to achieve Masters of Doctor. My passion for medical career and curiosity to learn about the research help me to reflect my qualification for ChicagoCHEC. I want to be a ChicagoCHEC Research Fellow because I would like to strengthen my skills for research both academically, and clinically to prepare myself for medical school and oncology career. I would like to join the ChicagoCHEC research Fellow because I want to meet researchers to guide me through this new journey, scholars to share their experiences, new people who share similar interest, and get involve into various activities to improve my skills. My passion and excitement towards my research will encourage me to be an active participant of Fellow Program. I am a hardworking, responsible, and curious person who wants to gain experience that can be implemented at UIC and future career.
