Child Portfolio Design Activity Report

For Standard #1, Promoting Child Development and Learning, I chose the Child Portfolio Design Activity that I created for ED 485. The Child Portfolio Design was not based on any one child, but a general format. The design was represented by four domains that are major aspects to child development. These domains are motor, language, social, and aesthetic. The assessment tools that would have been used if it was real were observations, checklists, children’s own work, and developmental that focused on the child’s weaknesses and strengths in the child’s learning. The design was to be used to view the child’s progress or regress over a long period of time. I found the Child Portfolio Design Activity to be very difficult in designing it.
