I feel that this is a topic that can be very “meaty” for some people. You can dig deep or just skim the surface. My plan when writing this paper to is explain what abuse is and the different types children can encounter, such as; physical, mental, and sexual abuse. After describing the different types of abuse, describe how the brain is developing during childhood and how abuse can damage or delay the development in a child. Which will flow into long term effects of abuse on a child and if there is any difference a child faces if it is male or female when they are abused. I would also like to spend time on the word of God. I want to express the love God

This type of physical abuse causes severe pain, risk of death permanent disfigurement, and or impairment or loss of a body part. (Langberg, 2018)
Neglect
This is described as failure to provide necessary shelter, clothes, food, supervision, and medical care. Prolonged and repeat failure to protect a child and the child is endangered to his or her function of life. This does not include environmental factors that are beyond the control of the parents such as in adequate housing, furniture or clothing due to poverty. (Langberg,2018)
Emotional
This is probably the hardest to prove. The best way that Dr. Langberg describes this kind of abuse is a mental injury that seriously interferes with the child’s ability to accomplish age appropriate developmental tasks. (Langberg, 2018)
Sexual
Persuasion or coercion of a child to engage or assist in sexually explicit conduct, this broken down further into verbal, visual, and physical. Verbal- is described as any lud remarks, threats made against a child’s body, suggestive comments and harassment. (Langberg, 2018) Visual-

This is something that Jesus never intended to occur, but since sin entered, this earth things, have changed. Abuse is something that has power over someone. But the good news is that there is nothing that is to powerful for God. Even if we do makes mistakes, which will happen because we are not perfect, God will forgive us. We need to repent and ask for forgiveness. We have done things in our live that we should have paid that ultimate price but instead Jesus showed us mercy and took that from us. One day this earth will be cleansed again after Jesus’ return. Until that day, we have to stand firm in our faith, even during trials, that it could get a lot worse and with help of the Lord we can overcome any struggle that we have. Ephesians 6:4 (NIV) states; Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
