There is life after death, once we die we are not gone for good and the world does not just go dark as if a light switch has been hit. Scientists and several religions have there beliefs of what happens when you pass, but we are going to find out from people who have actually died and come back to life. There are multiple religions that will be covered along with words from Sean Martin. Many different religions have different views of what life is after death. Buddhism asserts that what keeps us bound to the death and rebirth process is desire, desire in the sense of wanting or craving anything in the world such as love, money, or even the feeling of wanting to be wanted. Nirvana is the Buddhist term for liberation. The word Nirvana literally means extinction, and it refers to the extinction of all craving, an extinction that allows one to become liberated. After death, according to Tibetan Buddhism, the spirit of the departed goes through a process lasting forty-nine days that is divided into three stages called "bardos." At the end of those forty-nine days of bardo, the person either enters nirvana or returns to earth for rebirth. Come on man, get up. Get up. GET UP! Then someone was slapping my helmet. When I opened my eyes I saw my brother squatting on the pavement next me to. This was odd because my brother died from an overdose several years ago. The only other thing I remember is him glancing at his watch and saying something like “They'll be here soon' and then walking away.” The patient wishes they could give more detail but they honestly don't remember much of the incident and still have trouble with memory as a result of the accident.
