Have you ever wondered what caused the civil war? The civil war was caused by several economic, political, and social factors. Several economic factors caused the civil war. One key aspect was the disagreement between the North and the South over the institution of slavery. The Southern states relied heavily on slave labor for their agricultural economy, while the Northern states were moving towards industrialization. This economic divide, along with other political and social factors, ultimately contributed to the outbreak of the Civil War. Here is some evidence to support my claim. As a result, they established many tobacco plantations and relied on enslaved labor for most of the work.
