For years, I have been going to sporting events. My favorite ones to go to are Kansas State games because the atmosphere is so much fun. Another thing I really enjoy when I am there is, people watching. Who does not love to people watch? Ones get to see a bunch of different kinds of sports fans. There are many different categories but the ones I notice the most are the coaches, the bandwagoners, and drunks.
The coaches are the diehard fans. I call these fans the coaches because they think they can coach the team better than the actual coach. However, everyone knows, they cannot. Bandwagoners also fall under the category of wannabe fans because they are not a fan of sports at all. They will make it seem like they love sports by cheering for whatever team is having a good season. People do this all the time for K-State sports because they like to cheer for the football team because they usually have an average season. However, as soon as basketball season comes, they move on to the next team. When they are around people who are real fans, bandwagoners want to act like they know what they are talking about so they will spend most of their time looking up information on the team they are cheering for. They will also buy a jersey to make it look like they have been a fan since they were little. Bandwagoners are harder to pick out of a crowd because they are usually a lot quieter than the coach fans. Bandwagoners like to sit back and enjoy the game because they do not go to as many games as the coach fans or they do not know what is going on. Bandwagoners do not enjoy showing up to the game hours before it starts. They prefer to show up about thirty minutes to an hour early so they can find their parking spot and then try to find their seats. They even leave the games early so they can beat the rush of traffic
