Introduction How Collaboration and Community of (Title of Poem 1) brings out the best in people During the Harlem Renaissance African american created music, art, and other forms. In this essay I will speak about three poems that go with a claim that is community and collaboration through poems written in that time period. Those poems, "We Wear the Mask" by Laurence Dunbar are about working towards a goal, sadly sometimes hiding yourself to complete your goal. "Mother to Son" by Langston Hughes is about not giving up on your goals and working with people in your community to complete them. And finally "The sculptor" by nikki grimes. Which is about working together with people and working hard to complete your goals, however the poem was a collaboration about the Harlem renaissance it also talks about how you should work hard to make your dreams come true.
