The career that fascinates me and what I plan to be when Im older, is a Dental Hygienist. A dental hygienist is a stressful job, but it helps a lot of people. You are helping people get better teeth and even look better, because when people have straight pretty teeth, they seem to have an upgrade in their looks. I haven’t always wanted to be a dental hygienist, I had many other career choices. But, something about making people smile when I’m the reason they look good doing it makes me happy.
Just as Bryan Stevenson had expressed in the video, I also experienced a defining moment that dictated the career path I have decided to take. Without my defining moment, I would have never chosen to take a career path dedicated to biological research; just as Bryan Stevenson would have never found himself dedicating his career to helping those on death row without his defining moment. I want to be a conservation biologist, which means I will most likely be pursuing an emphasis of my education in Ecology. Throughout my childhood and extending into my early teenage years science was my least favorite subject—hands down. I was a student that most everything came to naturally.
I realised I wanted to study something to do with science after attending the Uncaged Monkeys tour a few years ago, where Brian Cox, Richard Wiseman and Ben Goldacre really inspired me to learn more about science and gave me a desire to be part of the great expansions happening in science today. This interest narrowed to chemistry because of my enjoyment of the subject. Chemistry fascinates me. The way that everything that has ever or will ever exist can be simplified down to 118 different elements is something I find astounding and the way that these elements form life in many different forms is incredible.
Recently, I developed a passion for robotics as well. I hope to find a way to combine these two passions into my future career in college. After college, I plan to attend medical school to work towards becoming a family physician. Aside from career goals, I hope to one day raise a family of my own and become a father, I dreamed of having growing up. From my experiences, I know that there is no limit in our potential, so I will work on progressing my life and bettering myself in any way shape or form.
The career that I have decided I would like to have one day is as a veterinarian. I really enjoy and care for animals and love to help them. I have some pets of my own and help them when they need it. I really like science and math and think this job is perfect for me. Being a vet involves a lot of mathematics.
I love everything science, from biology, to chemistry, and even a little bit of physics. Before I really knew what I wanted to do, I would’ve never thought that science would take the cake. But ever since my freshman year of high school when I took honors biology with Mr. Fonck, I knew that whatever I did it would take a lot of science to do it. I’m now preparing to attend school fall of 2016 to study biochemistry. And with this I hope to find a career as a forensic scientist.
The outlook for anesthesiology is vast and grows quickly while the outlook for astronomy is slow and more narrow (“Astronomer,” Careers in Focus 51). A slow outlook can mean it is hard to land a job. However, there are over one hundred U.S. colleges offering Ph. D.’s in astronomy and there are a number of “summer or part time jobs” in observatories (“Astronomer,” Careers in Focus 55-56; “Astronomy”). Because of a slow outlook, it may be better to just use astronomy as a hobby.
All throughout my life, I have been intrigued by worlds different than the one that I experience. In middle school, Harry Potter posters lined the walls of my bedroom, “Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman” was dutifully recorded every Wednesday, and I knew all of the characters and aliens in Doctor Who by heart. Give that realistic fiction to someone else - fantasy and sci-fi were the ones for me. As a result, today if given the option of traveling away to space or staying home on Earth, I would choose away in a heartbeat.
I want my career to be rewarding. Most of all I love analyzing and investigating things. I am very determined and don’t give up on things. The career I chose is the perfect match for
Many students wonder what their future has in store for them. They can go into a wide variety of degrees. One option for a degree is a doctorate in astronomy. Astronomy has many different specialties to be an expert in. One expertise would be a solar and stellar astronomer.
If I had to choose any career, it would be Zoology. Not only is the pay good, but i 've always had a fascination with all kinds of animals. I would love to be able to study them every day and go to different parts of the world. It requires a college degree and a lot of hard work, but i 'm willing to put forth the extra effort. Zoology is the scientific study of the behavior, structure, physiology, classification, and distribution of animals.
Research astrophysicists handle this by conducting their own observational research at a university, national observatory, or a government lab (Careers in Astronomy). Astronomy is the study of the universe and all of the celestial bodies that embody it. A research astrophysicist conducts research in order to find the origin and evolution of the universe. The information that is found can be mind blowing making it a very interesting job. Most of these astronomers have specific jobs when it comes to this research.
What is Astronomy? Astronomy is the study of the sun, moon, stars, planets, comets, gas, galaxies, dust and other non-Earthly bodies. Astronomy is very important to understanding space and everything in it. When studying Astronomy it is very important to use models. Models are important because it makes it possible to study, for example the distance and sizes of the planets without having to go through all the trouble of going up into space, which is very far away and cost lots of money.
I love doing jobs that involve communicating with other people and encouraging other to pursue what is great in themselves. I believe every person possess their own special attributes and is uniquely beneficial to the community. Thus, this field of psychology provides me with the study of both natural science and social science. I am also fascinated by the idea of being a researcher.
Recalling my childhood, I always used to stay puzzled whenever somebody asked what I wanted to be in the future. Maybe because unlike other kids, I could not quite say that I would want to be a Doctor or Pilot, because my heart did not say that. Gradually while growing up, I was very much interested in science, mathematics and other science programs and I always wanted to participate. I even got prize for presenting the best science experiment at class 9. I did well in my academics
