Tucked into the corner bike in the back row, I nervously set up my bike and clipped in for my first spin class. The lights were down and the music was blasting but within the first minute I was lost and was sure I looked like an idiot. But the electrifying vibe of studio was addictive, it was an immediate feeling of knowing I belonged here and eventually the philosophy behind spinning changed my entire life. My purpose is to help, to inspire others to achieve greatness within and promote positive energy and love to all. My entire life I have been attracted to things like spin that put positive energy in the world. This gravitation likely stemmed from my upbrining. Both of my parents, whom I admire and appreciate, are in nurturing professions. My mother is a teacher and my father is both in the medical field and law enforcement. In all careers, they dedicate their lives to assisting and protecting others. Because I was raised by nurturers, it was instilled in me from a young age that caring for others is just something that you do. Because of them, I have adopted the lifestyle of helping and caring for others. Whether it is in my volunteer efforts, research, or simply getting something off the top shelf for someone who is much shorter than my 6'0" self, I consciously and unconsciously
