As a student with a strong passion in high-fidelity audio who is determined to become a sound equipment engineer and designer, I have realized the value of knowledge in electrical engineering and in various fields such as material science along with a rich experience in related research that will help me succeed. After having this realization, I began doing research on college and the University of Pennsylvania stood out to me with the interdisciplinary education it offers to the students and the fact that it encourages student activities.

Whenever I go on the Penn Admissions website to view the description of student activities, the line “Live your passions at Penn—and find others who share them” keep reminding me how big of a influence I can potentially make on others, as I’m always eager to share the enjoyment brought by amazing music-reproduction technologies. As I have seen on the Penn Admission website, no related clubs are present so far, and this presents me with a great opportunity to make an impact on campus.
