The perception of fear just stalking the essence of accomplishing a task has been horrifying me ever since my journey began as a student. Each day as I slide myself out of my bed to combat actuality, the feeling of pressure does indeed drain my sanity due to the abundance of projects and worksheets waiting to be finished. And while they sit on the corner of my study table impatiently, I put into concern the towering amount of tests that are expecting students to score highly. Accepting and gripping the award in my hands, I turn around and witness how far I’ve come with the sensation of nostalgia and sentimentality blowing towards my face. Then I showed my appreciation and compassion for all the memories and struggles that made me develop as a person by bowing to them in front of the audience. Going down the stairs, I came up with a huge realization of what I’ve been doing all along that’s been encouraging me to pursue for this moment. Because of this, I became much appreciative of all those moments that pushed this fear away from blocking my perspective of the glittering goal that I aimed to occupy ever since I began my education in prep; to succeed in every grade level. The journey that helped me lead to this ultimate and unforgettable moment of graduation even made me emotional about all the things and people I’ve been with for the last couple of years, because without them, I wouldn’t be in this position and path I’m at right now.
