After I complete about four years undergraduate study in the United States, I found that I have been achieving progress by learning things through understanding and thinking independently. I strongly believe that these four years study not only helps me expand my outlook at academic domains, but also gives me a competitive edge in the future career.
My undergraduate major courses are most about calculus, qualitative researches, and computer applications. For instance, the one of the assignments was to build a model of a long-term investment of a grocery store operating in Minneapolis, and students needed to determine whether to operate the project based on the analysis. If I continue to adopt the previous thinking pattern that there are only two variables, I would disregard some important factors obviously, such as the different depreciation rates in each year and the costs of capitals in each year. With the deep development of world economy's globalization and intergradation, more and more consumers are joining the grand global business ecosystem. What they performing and intend to do will become the wind vane of the business world, and I want to become a qualified business analytics for digging out the implications of the big data. For instance, China has an accelerating economic growth rate and the biggest population in the world, which releases a long-term and huge domestic market, and this situation is also akin to what happening in the United States.
