When I started my journey at California State University, San Bernardino in Fall 2011, I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. My college journey has been one of the most important in my life, and my time spent studying at California State University, San Bernardino, has been an eye–opening experience. Being an International Business student made me more knowledgeable about global issues. The College of Business and Public Administration has provided the best experience in my life. It made me more independent, mature and just a more confident person overall.
My education in international business has provided the knowledge to analyze information, solve problems, understand International trade policies and practices, micro and macroeconomics, and public speaking. I was born and raised in India, and never thought I would be able to attend university in a foreign country. Moving to the USA and studying in College of Business and Public Administration at California State University San Bernardino has changed my life. It is very important for a good school to develop students as professionals, along with a good education. I believe having professional behaviors is key to success. I believe the excellent way to practice for the professional world is to present yourself in a great way in front of your professors, in a way that your professor/ mentor will take you and your work seriously. Proficiency and competency are good to have when entering the workforce. You can get that experience by using all your homework; project and group work, and complete your work on time.
