Since the world has been transformed from a manufacturing-based economy to an economy based on knowledge, college education has become a critical factor which serves as the gateway to better options and more opportunity. As our world has become more integrated, I learned that I should enhance not only my academic cognizance but also interpersonal skills to become an engaged and effective global citizen who not only possesses good moral character, but is also equipped with the knowledge, values, aptitudes and attitudes to address global issues. As for soft skills, myriad extracurricular activities and internship opportunities will help me develop and reinforce my social aptitudes.
