The impacts that climate change have on British Columbia (BC) is daunting. There are many different types of impacts such as impacts to the natural environment and humans in BC and there are many different adaptations British Columbians are doing to minimize the impacts that have already occurred. Within this reflection, the discussion regarding an overview of the climate change from Walker and Sydneysmith (2008), the impacts on the natural environment and humans in BC from Lemman et al. (2014), and this discussion will also address the adaptions that are used by British Columbian because of the climate change from “Planning for the Future” (2002), Kovacs et al. (2004) and Andrey et al. (2014). The information from Walk and Sydneysmith (2008) provides a nice overview of the impacts that climate change has on the world. The video “Heavy Rains, Steep Slopes” (2002), Kovacs et al. (2014), and Andrey et al. (2014) highlights these adaptions that are being considered and implemented. Although, I think it’s important to remember that even though these adaptions might not directly affect us in ways it affects others, they still do indirectly have implications. For example, “Planning for the Future” (2002) discusses the changes that farmers need to carry out and consider for their further crops; specifically, the decisions they will need to make regarding what they are growing and when they grow it, which means that there are going to be considerable amount of adaptations occurring in the traditional farming methods. “Planning for the Future” (2002) also suggests that British Columbian need to consider how they will take advantage of the impacts that are occurring, whether they are negative or
