While some believe the common core state standards are an excellent tool to prepare students for college –and career readiness and improve students’ school achievement, because the thoroughness of the Common Core State Standards and improve students’ school achievement, because of the thoroughness of the CCSS. Certainly, putting these standards in place across the states several educators claims it will 1) enhance the quality of learning in the classroom by increasing creativity; 2) students engaging in subject topics; 3) teachers introduce challenging lesson plans; 4) working together across states analyzing how they implemented the common core state standards; 5) promote equity in getting students from all states on the same page; and 6) getting students college ready. Several educators argue in favor of the CCSS in that it enhances the quality of learning in the classroom by creating creativity. By introducing a challenging lessons plans, it prepare the students to look at the course of study in an objective stake, in a different light, which is not always the norm. For example, with Common Core State Standards in place,, she were able to include more nonfiction literature as well as fiction in here lesson plans. Thus, this gives the students the opportunity to adopt a pattern of critical thinking. Therefore, allowing the students to become competitive worldwide. (Cindy Long, 2013, p.4).
