The act of racism has been present in every society throughout history. Discrimination of other groups based on their different descent and ethnicity. These forms of hatred and negativity are based off old fashion values and traditions. People of different cultures believe there’s is superior, this belief in superiority may take the form of ethnocentrism or prejudice. In early Vancouver, the Chinese and First Nations experienced this disparagement first hand.
The language barrier also prevented the doctors from figuring out that the parents are trying to help in their own way by buying things that Hmong believe will heal the body. The doctors didn’t know for sure if the parents were serious or not. Basically this whole book so far is showing the importance of being able to understand and communicate with one another

The film “Speaking in Tongues” (2010) obtained the students, parents, and communities perspective towards bilingual education. The students interviewed were all mainly towards learning how to speak a second language. The students felt they could benefit in learning a second language or in expanding their home language. It was evident that they existed in almost everything that they did. The gods were extremely helpful to the mankind and helped them in very many different ways. In most cases the Greek gods have a certain amount of power that they are all willing to manipulate for their own entertainment without keeping mind the welfare or the we well-being of other people either immortal or non-immortal.
