I grew up in a single parent household, my mother who struggled to take care of me, instilled the prize of an education. Therefore, I always knew I wanted to go to college. However, what career path I wanted to take was not clear until I was sitting in my 8th grade Science class. That day in class the biography of Ms. Henrietta Lacks and the HeLa cell line was introduced. The story of Ms. Lacks sparked a fire within me, and I knew from that very moment, I had found something that had my interest at heart.
Throughout my college career, I have been engaged civically through community service at various organizations such as Mentoring Majesties, Fannie Battle Day Home for Children, and Preston Taylor Ministries performing more than 200 hours of service. In addition to my college and community involvement, I have made advances in my future career to be a healthcare administrator by being selected to participate in the Community Partners Internship through Hospital Corporation of America. Recently, I have been invited back to the internship to participate in a new project that targets behavioral health and access to
Please accept my resume to showcase my interest in the position of Resident Assistant. I believe that I am an excellent candidate due to my leadership ability, my academic achievement, and my overall attitude. I am a firm believer in academia being the top priority while in college and I have proven this attitude through my performance over the past semester. As a Political Science and International Business double major at Monmouth College, who is on the Pre-Law track, I aspire to work in politics one day as a Political Campaign Manager. My academic attitude, I believe, is important for a Resident Assistant to hold because as a RA, one should be a role model for the other members of the hall.
The Youth and School Resource Officers School Resource Officers (SROs) are sworn police officers trained to serve and protect the community. As such, they have a duty to serve and protect schools within their jurisdiction as part of a total community-policing strategy. Research has shown that the youth with healthy relationships and “protective factors” have a reduced chance of becoming involved in serious delinquency. These “protective factors” include adding school resource officers to school campuses with the growing number of at-risk students. It is important for schools to have SROs because the SRO’s role on school campus is keeping students safe and supporting the education mission not only as law enforcement officer but also as a teacher and a counselor.

Certified nursing assistants are in charge of a myriad of tasks related to patient care, saving, and bettering the lives of others. However, the conditions and demands of this job raise questions such as, what are the challenges of being a CNA? What are the various difficulties faced by CNAs, and what’s the most challenging part of being a CNA? The average CNA salary in the United States is around $30,000 per year. While it may seem like quite a lot to some, it’s important to take into account just how much certified nursing assistants face and sacrifice just for the care of others.
My reasons for wanting to serve Peace Corps Volunteer are personal and intellectual. First of all, I want to share the knowledge I have acquired throughout my life by making myself available and becoming part of something bigger. I’ve had the opportunity to attend school and I recently completed a graduate degree; this has been a great accomplishment not only for me, but for my family as well. Therefore serving as a PCV would be a rewarding experience not only for me but for those who have supported me throughout my life, since I will contribute towards a bigger cause by helping to improve the lifestyle of less fortunate people. After successfully receiving a graduate degree, it is expected that I find a permanent job related to my field of
National Junior Honor Society I love to learn and I believe that is the point of coming to school. In the sixth grade I got interviewed by Ms. Spille and I got accepted into the AVID program at Lake Braddock. This program has taught me several things, for example, how to be more responsible, how to be organized and how to use my time wisely. I always turn in my homework on time and do my best, so it looks nice and neat. I am one of the only people who use my agenda out of my classes.
National Honor society was established to recognize outstanding high school students. National Honor society recognizes students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of academic success, leadership, character and service. I should be in National Honor Society because I think I represent a lot of the qualities needed to be in this organization. Throughout my years in high school, I have been very involved in the band program here at Langham Creek. As a freshman, I started out in Concert 2 band.

The politicians and pro-life supporter’s main stance against abortion consists of preservation of life; and their Christianity belief that abortion is an act of murder. Community service does not only have a profound impact on our community, but the impact it has on the individual people is even greater. The concept of community service has always been something that I grew up with, and now that I am older I better understand how important community service is for society. I have participated in community service activities. Starting in elementary school, I helped feed the homeless and rescue animals. Even with my wide range of volunteer experience, it was difficult to find an activity that would be meaningful and fulfill my thirty-hour obligation for my senior project.
