Do people often consider the reason be hide which way they go when continuing their education out of high school? There are several thing to think about when you want to pursue your education. Always go the rout that you will get the most out of. Community college and four year universities have many differences through the cost, atmosphere, and academics, but most people would rather go to a four-year university.
The cost of community college and four year universities are different in many ways. Students that attend community college usually live at home because the school is close. For instance, the students might take online classes through the college and not even have to leave their home to go to school, this can save money on gas. …show more content…

Community college is more laid back and more like high school. If they live at home they will still have their parents and family around them. The classes will not have as many students in them like a four year university. This makes it easier to learn at a community college. The students could get more help due to the fact that class size is smaller with less students. They wouldn’t be scared to ask question when they do not understand. Classes wouldn’t be as over whelming and stressful as a four-year university. However, a four-year university atmosphere is different than a community college. The students have to be more independent when they attend a four-year university. Classes could have 200 or more students in them at a time. Students coming from a smaller high school might not know how to act with such a large class size. When needing to ask something in such a large class size it could be stressful. Unlike at a community college, a university professor will most likely not recognize a student’s name. It might be harder for the students to use the current technology to get in touch with their instructor because they may not recognize their
