The four management concerns for community sport programs are the following: (1) personnel management, which begins with planning and examining the organizations strategies, goals and resources. (2) Volunteers, does the organization have enough resources, recruiting volunteers and paid personnel; (3) training, volunteers must undergo training and development to understand the organizations’ goals, policies and procedures and (4) Coach training should include ethical standards, proper child safety if coaching children and behavior management. All of these are essential to community sport delivery and volunteers.
