KAILI HONG PER.3 THE ISLAMIC EXPANSION The early Islamic empire expanded in a couple of ways. One of the ways was the war. I found this evidence in document A where it says that the Muslims to fight gathered together to fight the Greeks. The Greeks would tie each others foots to each other so none of them would escape during the war.
The Islamic Empire was huge, large, and untied. The early Islamic empire expanded by fiercely attacking and conquering other lands, as well as uniting them. To start off, In Document A (which is reliable because it happens to be written by Muslim historian Ahmad al-Biladuri in the 800s) it talks about how they killed 70,000 people. Even girls helped in creating a bloodbath which shows how fierce and strong they were on a battlefield and how they easily took more lands.
DBQ #2 The Islamic Caliphate gave way to much change in the Middle East during its reigning times, roughly 600-1300 C.E. Many political, economic, and social changes were imposed by the Caliph to different regions and cultures. New political changes were imposed on the people of Arabia and Africa. Christians and Jews also faced pressure from Muslims to convert due to benefits. Women’s rights also changed as part of the Caliphate.
The Islamic Empire (634-1922) was one of the most important empires ever. The Islamic expansion during the 7th and 8th centuries was one of the most amazing developments in human history. Combinations of cultural, political, and economic systems and factors mainly led to this expansion. The early Islamic caliphates created a strong legal and political system based on Islamic law, known as Sharia. Sharia helped to keep the newly conquered territories stable.
Cities in the Muslim World were often political centers, economic center and areas of religious importance during the post classical period. The Muslim World was a place of political centers due to being the foundation of the religion of Islam. Once Islam was created they wanted to spread its religion and it spread to other places and these other countries became Muslim cities. The Muslim world also had economical centers because when Islam spread, they set up trade routes that boosted the economy. As the cities developed they became of religious importance as they built religious structures, all in the Muslim world.

During the Islamic Golden Age, science, economic development, and cultural works flourished in the Islamic world. As they spread to civilizations, such as Greece, Rome, and India, Muslims assimilated, advanced, and applied those cultures’ scholarships. They read books and built their knowledge to the point where they could make their own discoveries. They built a strong trading empire by using scientific instruments and the night sky to guide them, and they had access to plenty of resources and goods. These advancements affected numerous fields in their own society and, eventually, in European society.
After the classical period the Islamic civilization showed an advancement in a variety of different aspects of their culture. They adopted a lot of it from earlier civilizations but had had a massive contribution on their part. The effect of this is that the Muslim culture and intellectual ideas were very long lasting. The achievements of the Islamic empires contributed to the development of their Golden Age.
A culturally diverse society provides a positive and negative effect on globalization. As culture spreads, it provides people with unfamiliar ideas, goods, and traditions the would not originally know of. These ideas, goods, and traditions can provide an understanding on other groups of people as well as creating feud between the groups of people. “The integration of societies and has provided millions of people with new opportunities, it may also bring with it a loss of uniqueness of local culture, which in turn can lead to loss of identity, exclusion and even conflict,” (Document A). Even when people learn of new culture.
The Dust Bowl was caused by a variety of unfortunate circumstances at the worst time. The dust bowl refers the 1930’s when during the Great Depression, powerful winds ripped off the top soil (the soil that is best used for farming) and killed many crops. The farmers that were hit the hardest were the ones in the southern great plains. This region was soon known as the Dust Bowl. In the off season, farmers would plant grass to keep the topsoil from being taken with the wind.
Mali was both a traditional and Islamic Kingdom. There were non-muslims who lived in the kingdom. There was also muslims in The Kingdom Of Mali. The Kingdom Of Mali is a traditional kingdom.
Muslim Empires The Muslim empires of the early modern era represent a very pivotal era in world history. These include the Ottoman Empire, the Safavid dynasty, and the Mughal Empire. These three empires would be the expansion of Islamic civilizations across what we now know as the Middle East, northern Africa, and parts of Southeast Asia, each being different and similar in terms of origins, territory, and period as an empire. The Ottoman Empire was established by Turkic people from Central Asia at the beginning of the 13th century. However, its early territory was in Asia.
Contrary to popular belief, where the inhabitants of a country set their differences aside to live peacefully, a war, or more specifically, a civil war, is a horrendous implication of a full-blown armed conflict caused by political, social, or economic differences in opinions between the different sects of people living in a country. A war, in its general sense, is usually referred to as a rather barbaric approach to a controversy that mostly spirals out of an armed conflict between two nations or states. Catholic Christianity vs. Islam’s Understanding of Jesus Christ Who is Jesus Christ? This is a universal question, which intrigues many people of different races, nationalities and religions. Jesus Christ is the central figure of Christianity, which makes him globally known because Christianity is the largest practicing religion in the world. Furthermore, the two most popular and universalizing world religions are Catholic Christianity and Islam because they have “beliefs and appropriateness that appeal to populations worldwide” (Wiley p.178).
Christianity and Islam share many similarities with a few fundamental differences. Both religions follow monotheism, though in Islam it is much stricter. Jesus and Gabriel are focal points for Christianity and Islam respectively. God and Allah stand for the same higher power and basis for religion. In Islam, the five pillars are the main difference just as Mary is the mother of Jesus and the beginning of the Christian religions teachings.
