The Maya, Aztec, and the Inca are all ancient tribes that settled in Mexico. The Maya had a lot of towns that were scattered in mesoamerica. Their main town/city was called Chichen Itza, it was in Panama. The Aztec also settled in mesoamerica, Their main town/city was in Nicaragua. Unlike the Maya, the Aztec did not have a lot of cities/towns.
In my opinion the Inca civilization is better than the Maya civilization and the Aztec civilization. Because of their advanced achievements. Also because of their connection to animals and the gods. The Inca were a very mysterious ancient civilization.
Looking at many aspects of the Mayans and Aztecs, such as their complex societies and educational systems, we can conclude that they were a civilized society. The Mayans had large thriving city states with complex social stratification. For example, the upper class consisted of kings, priest and nobles. The middle class included officers, professionals, officials, bureaucrats, merchants and artisans, whereas the lower class included the workers and servants (Shafer 2009).
In this class, I have learned a great deal about a wide variety of civilizations. These civilizations have ranged from the oldest known to the Gothic era and late Middle Ages. However, there were 5 things in particular that proved very interesting. The first three would be the Inca, the Aztec, and the Mayan civilizations. These 3 cultures had very interesting beliefs and some incredible architecture.

They are also known for their infamous 365 day calendar which accurately mapped out days and dates all the way up to May of 2012. This is evident of the fact that they also studied astronomy seeing as the calendar is based off the Earth’s revolution around the sun. The Aztecs, as technologically lacking as they were, were able to perform rudimentary brain surgery. To put this in perspective, in this day and age, for someone to be able to do what they were able to requires upwards of 20 years of schooling, and that's with the technological advantage.

The Mayans most famous cities are Chichen Itza, Tikal, and Palenque. The Incas build of Machu Picchu is also very popular for it’s amazing buildings. The Mayans lived from 2600 B.C to 1800 B.C. . The Maya dominated from 200 to 900 A.D .The Aztecs lived from the year 1428 to 1521.
They also had a javelin and bows and arrows. The soldiers were trained to use the weapons, and they would practice when they were not fighting.
