Romeo and Juliet, as stated by the program, handed at the entrance, just about 99% of people know of or about one of the most famous love stories to ever be written. William Shakespeare wrote the play in the sixteenth century. The play is about Romeo and Juliet who play a crucial role in the focus and the consequence of the play. They are children to the Montague and Capulet families. It is a tragic love story between two lovers, solely on the fact that their families are enemies. Unfortunately, fate is the cause of their death; both Romeo and Juliet commit suicide in hopelessness. While I was watching the play I kept in mind to: Examine the actor of the aggressive Tybalt thoroughly, as well as set, and lighting. In the story, Juliet has a cousin named Tybalt from the family of Capulet’s. Tybalt from the start of the play showed that he was violent with a short fuse. He caught my attention early in the show, with his voice, exhibiting his aggression. His voice represented his character perfectly. Tybalt was very angry at the fact that Romeo showed up at a dance, where Romeo shared his feelings with Juliet. Personally, I did not like any of the actors costumes. I understand that the theatre might not have enough money to support high quality costumes but, they all looked like cheap pirate costumes. For example, Tybalt just had basic red leggings with what looked like the fakest pair of uggs ever. He was wearing a loose white long shirt, covering what mostly looked like loose a pirate vest lined with gold buttons. The thing I did notice about the characters costumes was that the more important people in the play wore more interesting headpieces. In Tybalts case he wore a crown that showed me he had importance.
