Charles Darwin did not invent anything, but he made many discoveries as a scientist and naturalist; and, as an author, he impacted science and the way we think about our world. Both Dr. Frankenstein and Charles Darwin found that through science it was easy to go on with life without inclusion being a "supreme being" as God. Comparing Frankenstein to a historical person like Charles can at times be alike to one another. Charles Darwin's scientific discoveries and views on science, nature and the relation of the individual to society are similar in the story Frankenstein written by Mary Shelley. Both reject Gods as the creator of human life. Also believe in the power of evolution. While both desire to achieve knowledge, the promise of doing good, the ego and drive to discover and the catastrophic moments where knowledge was difficult to gained. He chooses safety over the dangers of exploration unlike Victor who wanted to continue and expand no matter what the outcome come be, life or death. His theory has had far-reaching affects on science and the way we understand life. Most people did not believe or did not agree with his theory. And alike Dr. Frankenstein created a creature that most people thought was just a horrific being to have near them. Even though people did not agree with his methods he continue to work and build.
