Compare and Contrast: Men and Women’s Basketball Basketball is a sport many individuals enjoy to play, males and females. Sometimes males and females play with or against each other, or they play in teams; males versus males and women versus women. Although males and females play basketball for fun together, there are some differences while playing with an actual team. Men and women basketball are different because of popularity, some of the rules, and just the style played overall. Men and women basketball are similar because they’re both a competitive sport, you’re basketball team becomes your second family, and you have to have a lot of hard work and dedication.

They’re different because mens basketball is more popular than women's basketball. Mens basketball is more popular than women’s basketball because womens basketball lacks “excitement.” What I mean by it lacks excitement is while watching basketball people like watching dunks and crazy hops, and you mainly see that watching men's basketball. Mens basketball is played “above the rim,” while women's basketball is played below the rim. Men and womens basketball also differ because of some of the rules. One rule that men and women basketball have that is different is women's basketball, they ball they play with has to be small than a man's basketball. The women's basketball is typically smaller than the mens basketball because men have larger hands than women. Another rule that is different between men and womens basketball is the shot clock times. The shot clock is for the game to go faster, and you have to shoot in that amount of time or it’s a turn over. Finally, women and mens basketball is different because of the style played overall. In my opinion, I think men move faster than women, and they’re more competitive. Men have a lot of skill while playing basketball, not saying women don’t. Some, not all, men have more skill than some
