Coaching requires a lot of knowledge about the sport and a lot of experience with the sport. Being a coach means that you have to understand the situations that the players are put in because you yourself should know the pain and pressures of the players because you were once in their positions. You should inquire the thoughts of the players and use them to help develop the players with getting/being better at the sport that they love and have a passion and the desire to keep doing. Players should look up to coaches and the coaches should be able to help the players out with their mistakes and errors. Coaches should obtain the qualities of not pressuring players and not judging players.

Also, as with any form of self-assessment, there were strengths and weaknesses that I did not expect based on how I feel I live my life currently. Beginning chronologically, the program had me complete two subjective, current measures of my professional career.

Personally, interacting with headhunters can be a little intimidating and exhilarating at the same time. You may be offered a position you are not looking for or even interested in, but emotionally it can feel good to be desired by someone else. Most times when a headhunter is perusing you it is for a reason, and they normally highlight your attributes or characteristics that would benefit their cause. When replying to a head hunter, it can be very difficult to keep emotions out of the message but in some cases they are beneficial. We do not always make the right choices, and I have always been a firm believer of the statement “keep your options open.”

Theoretical assumptions: People used to see career counselling as making a decision in regard to which career path to follow after having one or two meetings with a career counsellor (Krumboltz, Foley & Cotter, 2013). According to Hall (2004) this few has changed over the past two decades and it is clear that career development is not a onetime choice but rather a lifelong process. Savickas (2012) argues that the form of career intervention must change just like the form of work changes to reflect the labor needs of the twenty-first century. Krumboltz, Foley and Cotter (2013) argues that clients must create more satisfying lives for themselves with the help of counsellors.
