The State and Fate of Tropical Rainforests

Tropical rainforests face a huge list of problems in today’s world. That is why a lot of pioneering scientists are trying to make a step forward to protect the world’s tropical rainforests. One of them is Claude Martin who has done researches in order to protect them. During his studies Martin focused on understanding and excreting the reasons and drivers of deforestation (Iisd.org, 2015).

One of the main causes of deforestation is a commercial logging. This implies that people do not understand the importance of saving the world’s forests. My view is that humans do not always know what damage they do to the Earth and some of us do not appreciate what nature has given us. Every year more and more hectares of tropical rainforests are disappearing increasing a great scope of reasons because of people who make economic benefits of deforestation. To my mind, one advantage of that could be a financial profit to those persons who are involved in. However, it is hard to compare one advantage to those disadvantages that humans do to our nature. Moreover, people all over the world should remember the difference in good deeds and powerful actions.

All things we do are impacting something one way or another. In this case, the impact is huge and irreversible to our nature. For instance, the disappearance of species and climate changes can lead to alterations in rainforests. That idea made me think about the consequences of human’s actions and how harmful and destroying they are. Drawback of that can be the possibility that animals and plants would not stand such changes. To prevent it, to my mind, people should advocate the living creatures and provide them an appropriate environment to continue their existence on our planet in order to save the natural
