The focus of my paper will be about the similarities and differences of two theoretical perspectives of a client. Each therapeutic approach has valuable measurements. It is not a matter of a theory being correct or wrong. As every theory offers a novel commitment to understanding human conduct and has one of a kind ramification for guiding practice. The two theories that I selected to practice is existential and cognitive behavioral therapy. I selected these two theories because Mr. Lovemyself has been experiencing narcissistic characteristics, depressive symptoms, and symptoms of anxiety. As for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, we teach our clients to confront the faulty beliefs with contradictory evidence that they gather and evaluate. We endeavor to enable the clients to search out their defective convictions and limit them and to end up plainly mindful of programmed contemplations and to transform them. Mr. Lovemyself has three different problems presenting. He suffers from depressive symptoms, narcissistic characteristics, and anxiety. These days we utilize the expression, "narcissistic" to depict somebody who is arrogant and brimming with him or herself.
